The First Look at SIX DAYS TO DIE!

There’s a first time for everything, and this is the first time I’ve had a “first look” at one of my films become headline news in Deadline Hollywood!

So without further ado, here’s a glimpse at the post-apocalyptic world I’ve been conjuring up over the last year, featuring Colm Feore himself:

The Man in Black witnesses the destruction of a Frontier Boomtown

On top of releasing this first look image, Deadline nabbed the exclusive on the portraits for some of the key characters in the film like Colm’s Man in Black, but also The Purveyor played by Ari Millen, The Marshal played by Melissa D’Agostino, and The Gambler played by Darryl Hinds!

Here’s a look at them on twitter:

SIX GUNS FOR HIRE: Goes into Pre-Production

Casting and location scouting has begun on my latest Western film, “Six Guns for Hire”, and I couldn’t be more thrilled!

With a wild script featuring an exciting who-dunnit mystery at its core, this western is the most ambitious feature I’ve ever undertaken, and if you’ve enjoyed the cast of my previous films, you’re going to be damn happy with the ensemble cast that’s coming your way in “Six Guns for Hire”! Keep your eyes here for updates…

SIX DAYS TO DIE: Enters Production

I’m thrilled to be in production on my new post-apocalyptic western feature, SIX DAYS TO DIE. It’s got a magnetic cast of actors I’ve worked with in the past, and some folks I’ve wanted to work with for years!

I’ll be combining my love of the western genre with my experience as  in VFX and green screen to build the frontier wasteland of my wildest imagining, while also shooting a film one actor at a time to keep it safe in a pandemic. It may sound a bit nuts, but I think you’ll agree it’s got a helluva look so far!

TACTICAL GIRLS WINS!

It’s been an incredible 2017 already for Tactical Girls, and as if the film festival wins and HUGE viewership on Amazon Prime wasn’t enough, Melissa D’Agostino has won a 2017 Best Actress Canadian Screen Award for her incredible performance as Dougy!

A post shared by Matt Campagna (@mattcampagna) on

And, as you can expect from Melissa any time she gets her hands on a microphone, her acceptance speech brought the house down:

Canada has really been heaping the accolades onto Tactical Girls; just last month the Canada Film Fest awarded our show as the Best TV/Web Series!

The exciting Tactical Girls journey continues, with plenty more screenings coming up, including the Brazil International Film Festival, so keep it Tactical!

WHAT THE F#@K IS “TACTICAL GIRLS”?

*2018 UPDATE: You can now watch Tactical Girls on HighballTV: https://www.highballtv.com/tactical-girls

*2017 UPDATE: You can now watch Tactical Girls on Amazon Prime: http://www.amazon.com/Hello-Kitty/dp/B01M3PBTTF/

My new comedy mini-series, “Tactical Girls” just wrapped secondary photography, and we’re closing in on our post-production goals. It’s wacky, it’s mad-cap, it’s hilariously crass and violent. If the three stooges were women who couldn’t stop swearing or breaking things, you’d have the Tactical Girls:

WRITING, DIRECTING & PRODUCING FOR SYFY IN CALGARY

*2014 UPDATE: Fallout Asylum has been retitled to “Mutant World”; that sounds more like a movie on the SyFy channel, right?

We go to lens on Fallout Asylum on Thursday, and I’ve spent the past week on location in Calgary with Nomadic Pictures, hard at work getting to a shooting script for the SyFy network.

With the reality setting in of which actor is playing which role, when they’re available and what locations we’ll have, it’s been a great process of collaborating with all the departments to be sure we’re making just the right movie for just the right tone and excitement on-screen at just the right price.

On this project so far I’ve had the chance to work along side folks from the props department on “Chronicles of Riddick”, as well as a bunch of folks who worked on Nolan’s new film, “Interstellar”, and at least two people who have worked on Power Rangers movies. Say what you will about Judi Dench acting in a Vin Diesel movie, this crew is pretty top-notch.

Keep your eyes here; there’s more to come about Fallout Asylum!

SIX DAY ROAD

*2017 UPDATE: Six Day Road has a new life as a feature film, and it will be making some exciting moves very soon… so stay, tuned, and enjoy this sneak peek at this post-apocalyptic western drama.

“When two sworn enemies awaken in the snowy wreckage of an avalanche, their only hope for survival lies in reconciling their differences.”

This is a single episode of a 9-part Post-Apoclayptic Western series that plays in the same univierse as Six Reasons Why. I made it with some very talented folks: Melissa D’Agostino, Caden Douglas and Marco Timpano.

I hope you dig it!
