‘VideoPodcast’ is a pretty misunderstood term, the names ‘Netcast’ or ‘Vlogcast’ have tried to clear or muddy the waters in that area, but really what we’re talking about is video content produced regularly and distributed over the internet. TV on the Web is a good way of looking at it. I’ve been making Broadcast-quality VideoPodcasts since 2005 – before any of these confusing terms were actually coined. In that time I’ve learned what it takes to not only make a technically glorious Podcast happen, but to get people watching it.
Some of these are personal projects I created that picked up a significant enough audience and turned enough profit to keep making for the fans and the community. Others are shows I helped pioneer and still direct specifically for websites like FoodNetwork.ca or theWHIR.com. Either way, the goal is the same: a webshow that is every bit as high in quality as what you’d see on TV.
And often it’s better.

Made specifically for the industry magazine the WHIR the viewership of this podcast has been huge from day 1.

A site designed for wine newbies and aficionados, SlurpSwish.com features the Naked Wine Show and dishes the tasting notes on every manner of wine, using down to earth language, while bringing the audience in on the meaning of some of the wine worlds more complex terminology.
